Wilkins introduces drinking water infused with bursting flavors

One of the most trusted brands in bottled drinking water is introducing another innovation. Wilkins introduced distilled water in the country 20 years ago and created a new market. Last year, it launched purified drinking water—Wilkins Pure.

Now, the brand is expanding its lineup once more by adding not just color but bursting flavors from real fruit juice to pure water. Coca-Cola Philippines, the beverage giant behind Wilkins, has recently unveiled the first water flavored with real fruit juice in the Philippines—Wilkins Delight.

The new thirst quencher targets young adults and every consumer who likes to drink more than just water. Wilkins Delight is just the right kind of light—made from Wilkins pure drinking water and infused with fruit flavors extracted from real fruits.

“Young adults hate boredom. They want their lives to be interesting and colorful,” said Stephan Czypionka, Coca-Cola Philippines Vice President for Marketing. “They want to see new places, meet new people, and taste new colorful products that are not only healthy but also hydrating and entertaining to their taste buds.”

Wilkins Delight is a colorful and fruity twist that naturally hydrates the body, while at the same time exciting the palette and teasing the vision with its fun, light colors of amber (for the Apple infused flavor), pink (for the hint sweet taste of Pomelo), and orange (for the fizzy Orange twist).

This hydrating burst of flavors in every bottle of Wilkins Delight surely brings surprise to Pinoy millennials who always aim to break free from the monotony by adding color to their lives’ routines.

Coca-Cola Philippines staged an exciting and colorful launch of Wilkins Delight on April 5, through an event held in Makati City where some members of the press, company partners, and a number of the most popular and influential millennial personalities in the local scene were gathered to enjoy tons of fun and colorful activities.

Wilkins Delight also introduced its own set of brand ambassadors—athelete-turned-movie/TV star Matteo Guidicelli and Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza.

“As an actor, singer, and triathlete, water is always a must for me to help me stay focused, refreshed, and energized,” said Guidicelli. “Now, drinking water doesn’t have to be boring because of Wilkins Delight! With the benefits of safe and pure drinking water of Wilkins (Pure) combined with the infused flavor from real fruits, my daily water routine just got more colorful with Wilkins Delight,” he added.

For her part, Versoza emphasized the importance to her of drinking plenty of water. “As someone who’s from the beauty pageant industry, I need to take good care of my health and my complexion by drinking safe and pure drinking water,” she said. “With Wilkins Delight, drinking water gets even more fun as it helps rejuvenate me—keeping my skin healthy.”

Wilkins Delight—in three flavors: Apple, Pomelo, and Orange—comes in a 250- and 425-ml bottles with SRPs of P10 and P15, respectively. The product is now available in leading supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, and other retail outlets nationwide.

Wilkins Delight is set to launch its colorful ads and TV commercial on April 23.
