Applebee’s adds another reason to celebrate in Eastwood City

There is always a reason to celebrate at Applebee’s Grill & Bar. The world’s largest casual-dining chain has finally opened its much awaited second store in the Philippines–where else but in one of the best food havens in the metro, Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City.

Applebee’s opened its first location in the country in September 2015, making the Philippines the 16th nation where the restaurant operates. Apparently, the overwhelming success of that store paved the way for the establishment of the second store.

Global Restaurant Concepts (which also operates California Pizza Kitchen, IHOP, and P.F. Chang’s in the country) obviously made sure the second Applebee’s site will be a new landmark in Eastwood. It took the company several months to prepare for this opening.

Applebee’s Eastwood had a soft opening on July 4, coinciding with the observance of the Philippines-United States Friendship Day and with the celebration of the US’ Independence Day.

Since Day 1, the new Applebee’s has been living to its promise to provide a reason to celebrate every day. Whatever the occasion, customers would surely find and enjoy reliable comfort food as the restaurant chain maintains the core menu of its parent in the US.

Among the classic favorites are the Asian-inspired Potstickers (pork and shrimp within fried wonton pockets), Sriracha Shrimp, Boneless Chicken Bites, Green Bean Crispers, Cowboy Burger, and Quesadilla Burger.

The most mouthwatering desserts in the menu include Black Forest, Triple Chocolate Meltdown, and the irresistible Butter Pecan Blondie. Different shakes and juices are also available, along with several entries of mild alcoholic beverages for those who intend to get a little tipsy during a sumptuous celebration.

To complete the roundup of specialties for everyone, Applebee’s Eastwood also boasts of its Under 600 Calories Menu while kids and kids-at-heart would find their fancy’s delight with the special Kid’s Menu (also dubbed as Applebee’s Junior).

According to Roberto ‘Bob’ Vallar, marketing manager of Global Restaurant Concepts, Applebee’s Philippines will always be an important part of the brand’s Southeast Asian operations. “The Philippines is the first country in the region to open an Applebee’s,” he reminded. He hinted that the local Applebee’s operations will also serve an important role in the prospects of bringing the restaurant chain to more locations not just in the country but also in other nations and cities in this part of the globe.

Applebee’s Eastwood is located at Unit 1, Eastwood City Walk (in front of McDonald’s). #CelebrateEverything at the restaurant from 11 a.m. to 12 midnight, Sundays to Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. every Friday and Saturday.
